 Yoga is a very easy and effective way to stay healthy. There are certain postures that are important to learn basics however there are 300 yoga asanas(poses) but you don't need to practice each and every posture. 

For beginners, you can practice 5 to 10 yoga postures for 10 minutes. Here we discuss a few yoga postures that may help you.

1) Downward facing dog



Downward Dog is used in most yoga classes. It stretches and strengthens the entire body. Balance with both your wrists and legs. Lift your hips up off the floor you draw them up back towards your heels.

Keep your knee slightly bent if your hands are tight, otherwise try and straighten out your legs while keeping your hip back.

2) Plank



plank teaches us how to balance on our hands while using the entire body. It strengthen our abdominals, and learn how to use the breath to stay in that position.

how to do a plank? Balance your body with both wrists and legs and straight your body while tighting your abdominals. Balance for 10 minutes while breathing in and breathing out.

3) Tree



Blancing is the most difficult part specially for those who are little obese. Tree is an awesome balancing posture for beginners to gain focus and learn breathe while you standing one your one foot.

Start with your feet together and place your right foot on your inner left upper thigh. Join your hands like you are praying and slowly move both hands towards.

4) Seated forward bend



This yoga posture is very effective for stretching your entire body specially legs. If you want to lose your belly and be fit then this is for you. 

Be seated on the met and fold yourself forward slowly. your both hands should be straight to the ground. when you done, take breathe for 8 to 10 breaths

5) Bridge pose



Bridge pose is bending forward while stretching your back. It basically strengthen your back body and stretches your from body. 

Lie down on your back and place your feet hip width apart. Press firmly on to your feet and lift your butt up off the mat.
